WHAT IS ADVENTURE
Adventure is exploring the unknown, going out there unprepared and doing things that are quite new and fun.
The exact definition of adventure is:
ad·ven·ture: An unusual and exciting, typically hazardous, experience or activity.
Adventure is not just about taking calculated Risks;
Adventure is about foreseeing danger and preparing for it.
WHAT IS ADVENTURE PHOTOGRAPHY?
Adventure photography is a photography involving anything that gets the blood moving-Skiing and Snowboarding; Expeditions and Travel; Skateboarding, Roller Blading, and Surfing; Hiking, Camping, and Climbing; Hunting and Fishing; Cycling, Mountain Biking, Adventure Racing and Tri-Athletes.
Adventure Photography is about pushing to the limits.
WHY DO WE NEED ADVENTURE PHOTOGRAPHERS?
Simple.To capture live experiences.Doesnt it look far far better when a shot is being taken of surfer riding a surfboard than one in which he is standing by the board.There goes the answer.
WHAT DOES IT TAKES TO BE AN ADVENTURE PHOTOGRAPHER?
Adventure photography is probably the only field of photography that is exclusively shot by participants.
A lot of patience and hard work,this field of photography is not for the weak hearted.
The reason being a lot of hard work is :
1)You've got to be sporty enough,to handle both camera and yourself in the difficult terrain.
2)Sometimes that single shot might take you to places where in the temperatures are below 0 and you've got to work the whole day.
3)An adventurer will not be performing several times for you,so you have to be patient enough to capture that single perfect shot.
4)This field is for those who loves adventure and his ready for it anytime.
